The Minority Business Development Center (MBDC) offers a wide range of business education assistance and workforce development programming. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and entrepreneurial organization focused on innovative ways to grow minority businesses and a skilled workforce. Startup Mini Bootcamp for Small Businesses
– Saturdays, February 25, March 4, March 11, 2023, Time: 1-3pm Location: MBDC Eastland Mall - 1615 Empire Street Bloomington, IL 61701
- This 3-Saturdays startup program is to educate, establish, and elevate entrepreneurs and soon-to-be-entrepreneurs on their lean startup journey. While working on their business ideas, participants will learn and practice the skills needed to refine, explore, innovate, and develop a plan for their business ideas.

Entrepreneurship Academy
- Monday/Thursday, April 10, 2023 – May 25, 2023 Time: 6-8pm Location: MBDC Peoria 2139 SW Adams St. Peoria, IL 61602
- Entrepreneurship Academy is a great asset to the Peoria community. It will give access to the entrepreneurial ecosystem, education and training for entrepreneurs who are starting or scaling their business.
